## Project Overview:

We’ve developed a powerful **AI Assistant** that reads Gmail messages, summarizes them with GPT-4, detects business intents (e.g., orders, questions, complaints), and syncs the result to Notion.

The system is **complete and fully functional in development**, built in Python and tested on Google Colab. Now, we need a freelancer to help us **polish the backend, make a production-ready deployment (Render), and improve the frontend interface** for admin control.

## What’s Done (By Us):

- Python-based backend with Flask app (GPT, Notion, Gmail API)
- Two POST endpoints (Gmail trigger, thread analysis) + one frontend status page (`[login to view URL]`)
- HTML admin UI built with Bootstrap
- Gmail API supports both OAuth2 and Service Account methods
- Notion API integration for logging results to DB
- Fully tested `.ipynb` version already converted to `.py`

## What We Need You To Do:

1. **Backend Deployment (Render or similar):**
- Set up and deploy the `[login to view URL]` and `[login to view URL]` app securely
- Handle environment variables for API keys and tokens
- Ensure the app runs reliably 24/7 with logging/debug toggle
2. **Gmail API Fixes & Best Practices:**
- Improve plain-text extraction and ensure edge-case stability
- Verify Gmail label filtering and thread grouping works as intended
- Ensure correct email decoding (base64, multipart, etc.)
3. **Frontend Improvements:**
- Beautify `[login to view URL]` table
- Add loading indicators or error states
- Add user filter or Gmail label selector
4. **Security & Config:**
- Help us configure `.env`, `Procfile`, and `[login to view URL]` for deployment
- Ensure OpenAI, Notion, and Gmail credentials are stored securely
5. **(Bonus)**: If you have Notion API experience, we may expand the project scope.
