Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced development team (or senior freelance developer with security expertise) to build a privacy-first, end-to-end encrypted messenger.

This is an MVP (minimum viable product) but must be secure by design and ready for audit. Users will remain anonymous (no phone numbers required), with features that protect against message leaks and device compromise.

1. Account Creation
• Username-only (no phone number).
• Optional recovery email.
• App-level passcode + biometric unlock.
2. User Access / Control
• Invite-only sign-up (invite codes or QR).
• Admin approval before users can chat.
3. Messaging
• 1:1 and group messaging.
• End-to-end encryption (Signal protocol or equivalent).
• File sharing (basic images/docs).
4. Burn Features
• Per-message timers (disappearing messages).
• Burn whole chat option (wipe local + synced copies).
5. Device Safety
• Remote device revoke/wipe.
• Secure local storage (Argon2id + hardware keystore).
6. Basic Admin Console
• Approve/reject users.
• Revoke/wipe devices.

• Clean, auditable code (external security audit will be conducted).
