Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Budget: Recommended by industry experts
Time to start: As soon as possible
Project description:
"We’re looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented WordPress/WooCommerce developer with strong experience in API integrations to help us build a new VRM-to-car-parts eCommerce platform that connects vehicle registration lookups to compatible eBay listings.
You’ll be working from a very clear set of requirements:
We already have a fully functional version of this site running. You’ll be provided with a detailed product requirements document that maps out exactly how the new build should function. This includes a child theme for UI, a custom WooCommerce plugin for business logic, VRM provider integration, eBay API integration for search and product import, and automated cron jobs for stock and price sync.
Your job is to replicate and improve the existing workflow:
- VRM lookup resolves to vehicle details and eBay compatibility codes
- eBay-compatible parts search with filters mirroring eBay’s own system
- One-click import of eBay products into WooCommerce with our pricing rules and VAT handling
- Ongoing stock and price sync via cron
- Manual procurement workflow in v1 (admin buys on eBay after order placed)
- Returns and refunds management in line with eBay seller policies
- Admin dashboard for settings, overrides, and monitoring
We’ll provide full technical documentation, example API credentials, and reference flows from the existing build. You need to be confident in building a clean, reliable, and maintainable system that can be updated easily in the future.
Please CONTACT ME for the full, step-by-step information on how to complete this task.
PAYMENT:
This role offers $500 total for the project. It’s designed as a paid test build, with structured follow-on work based on quality and reliability:
After successful completion: We will offer additional development work for future feature builds.
After 60 days: Option to move to a monthly retainer for ongoing maintenance and new integrations.
After 90 days: Potential performance bonus depending on stability, speed, and feedback from our ops team.
This setup is designed to reward consistency, quality, and commitment over time.
Looking forward to hearing from you." (client-provided description)
