"My Python-based downloader on Linux Mint 22 FAILS whenever I queue large batches because the YouTube Data and Spotify Web APIs start throttling me. Because there is api limitations. I want to solve this once and for all by (1) adding extra API keys for each service and (2) tightening the code so every request counts.

The program runs on linux mint and downloads YT videos and Spotify music and converts to Mp3 on my local pc. You must understand python.

• Integrate multiple YouTube and Spotify keys into the existing script and build a clean key-pool/rotation routine that automatically selects the next valid key, retries gracefully on quota errors, and reports usage so I always know which key is nearing its limit.
• Review the present request logic, remove wasteful calls, and cache or batch wherever possible to reduce total hit count.
• Guide me through generating and whitelisting new keys on both developer consoles, then connect them in a secure way (dotenv, keyring, or any method that keeps them off-repo).
• Deliver the updated Python files plus a concise README that shows: setup steps on Mint 22, how to add or revoke keys, and a quick command to test the rotation with dummy quotas.
