Project description:
"I need a small web app with the code that lets people ask questions out loud and instantly get answers drawn from a set of public-facing PDFs. The main goal is speed: users should be able to use this via smartphone, ask a question, and receive the exact technical specification they’re after without digging through pages of documents.

Here’s the workflow I’m envisioning:
1. The system crawls or ingests every PDF hosted on the target public site, then parses and indexes them so technical specs can be retrieved with natural-language queries.
2. A voice layer (speech-to-text and text-to-speech) sits on top of the chat interface, keeping everything smartphone-friendly.
3. When someone asks, “What’s the torque rating on model X?” the back-end locates that spec inside the relevant PDF and returns it in the chat.
4. For how the answer is presented I’m open to solutions beyond plain text—feel free to recommend the best UX.

I’m happy with any modern stack that fits the job (Python + LangChain, Node + Whisper, vectordb, etc.) as long as the code is clean and fully documented. Please include:
• A responsive web front end with a simple push-to-talk button
• Complete back-end source, parsing scripts, and indexing pipeline
• Brief setup guide so I can redeploy or extend it later
