"My existing Java-based social media app is still targeting Android 14 (API 34). I now need the whole project lifted to Android 15 / API 35 and fully Play-Store compliant.

The job revolves around updating the compileSdk and targetSdk levels, resolving any breaking changes that Android 15 introduces, and making sure the app behaves exactly as it does today—if not better. Expect the usual round of manifest, permission, and Gradle tweaks, plus refactoring where new platform-specific APIs or deprecations demand it.

Because the codebase is 100 % Java, no Kotlin migration is required; however, if a lightweight Kotlin dependency makes the upgrade smoother, I am open to it.

Deliverables (all must be met)
• Updated source with compileSdkVersion/targetSdkVersion 35 and a clean Gradle build
• Fixes or replacements for any deprecated or removed APIs, libraries, or permissions
• End-to-end testing of core social media flows: timeline load, post creation, media upload, push delivery, and authentication
• A signed debug APK (or App Bundle) so I can run a quick smoke test on my own devices
• A concise change-log covering every library bump, Gradle plugin change, and platform-specific fix
