Project description:
"I need a custom inventory application built from the ground up for Windows that runs 100 % offline. Once installed it must work entirely on the local machine: no cloud calls, no background web traffic, nothing that breaks when the network cable is pulled. I will share example screens and process notes so you can mirror the workflow, but the underlying architecture and tech stack are yours to choose.

Core functions I cannot compromise on: seamless barcode scanning, automatic low-stock alerts that pop up inside the program, and detailed reports I can export to PDF or CSV. A polished graphical interface will make day-to-day use simple for non-technical staff, while a parallel command-line option lets power users batch-process or schedule tasks. Data should live in a self-contained local database—SQLite or any other embedded option that keeps everything in one folder.

When the work is done I expect a single Windows installer (EXE or MSI) I can email or drop on a USB stick, plus full, well-commented source code so future tweaks are possible in-house.
