"I’m running a WordPress store powered by WooCommerce and I want the browsing flow to feel completely seamless. At the top of the page I need an auto-scrolling carousel that shows all product categories (not just a selection). When a visitor taps a category, the grid beneath it should update instantly via AJAX so every product in that category appears without the browser reloading or jumping to a new URL.

Product pages must behave similarly smoothly. Either the product opens in a quick-view overlay or, if it needs to navigate to its own URL, the user should land back on the same category and scroll position when they hit the back button—no blank flashes or full reloads.

Please build this as clean, reusable code—ideally a small custom plugin or well-commented snippets in my child theme—so future updates to WordPress or WooCommerce don’t break it. I’ll handle content; you focus on the JavaScript (vanilla, React, or Vue are all fine), PHP hooks, and any CSS needed to tie it into the site’s existing design.

Acceptance will be based on:
• Carousel shows every category, loops smoothly, and is touch-friendly.
• Category click filters products instantly via AJAX on desktop and mobile.
