"I need a secure, web-based RFQ platform that lets our procurement team issue requests for quotation, allows vendors to respond inside the same workspace, and gives management real-time visibility of every stage.

Core requirement
The must-have feature is the ability to invite quotations quickly and track them inside the system. Beyond that, I would like the architecture to remain flexible enough to add negotiation threads, side-by-side comparisons, detailed analysis reports, and automatic purchase-order generation as we iterate.

User roles
• Procurement team – full creation and evaluation rights
• Vendors/Suppliers – restricted, portal-style access to submit and revise quotes
• Management – read-only dashboards and approval workflow

Expected deliverables
• A responsive web application (desktop & tablet friendly) running on any modern browser
• Role-based authentication linked to our corporate SSO or a secure alternative

Acceptance criteria
The procurement team must be able to create an RFQ in under five minutes, vendors must receive an email link that opens directly to their submission page without seeing other vendors, and management should be able to approve the recommended supplier and trigger a purchase-order file from the same screen.
