"Project aims to build a next-generation ride-hailing application, comparable to existing platforms like Uber and Bolt, but with a unique competitive advantage powered by AI. Our proprietary AI assistant, Chika, will serve as the smart interface for both riders and drivers—enhancing customer experience, optimizing job assignments, and continuously learning to improve over time.
By combining intelligent job distribution and AI-driven interactions, GIRO seeks to create a seamless, efficient, and engaging ride-hailing ecosystem.
We are looking for a developer to assist us build a Ride hailing taxi app like the existing ones in the sector, but with added difference.
An AI to show market difference. We would like to create an AI to be known as Chika, capable of answering questions, for example Chika what time shall we get to my destination? And Chika will search the app to retrieve the information from route assignment and sat nav to give an answer etc. This AI will in time, continue to be developed.
Other features will include;
a). Auto Assigner - Ability to assign, distribute and redistribute jobs
b). Auto Reassign - To reassign rejected or unaccepted job to another driver without delay.
c). Enroute Assign- A situation whereby a driver can set a destination he is travelling towards for the app to search and assign to him any available job along that route that he is travelling towards
d). Manual assign- the availability of manual assignment of Jobs (only to be used in rare cases)
e). Messages – Text to voice messaging. Frequently used messages and frequently related replies.
Back-to-Back job assign- To assign a return job to driver at the destination if job or when job becomes available but for a specified distance.

Natural Language Interaction – Riders and drivers can ask questions (e.g., “Chika, what time will I reach my destination?”) and receive accurate responses from real-time GPS and route assignment data.
