We’re looking for an experienced Substrate developer to help us resolve a critical runtime-level issue on our custom blockchain (ArgoChain):

Problem:
[login to view URL]() was mistakenly called with sudo privileges, which froze era progression. Since then:

No new eras are produced

Validators are unable to rotate session keys

Block times have slowed from 6 seconds to 11 minutes

Transactions are backing up

Your Task:

Revert the forceEra state to NotForcing

Optionally trigger a new era safely

Restore block/session progression and normal BABE consensus

Verify validator session keys and staking authority

Deliver a concise post-fix checklist or runbook

Environment:

Chain: ArgoChain (Substrate-based)


Runtime: BABE + GRANDPA

Chain launched and live

Ideal Experience:

Hands-on with Substrate pallet-staking, pallet-session, and consensus

Has debugged staking/session issues in production

Familiar with Polkadot-JS Apps and node CLI tools

Knows storage keys and extrinsics for validator health
