I need to automate flashing a .hex file to our microcontroller from LabVIEW. Today I run a PowerShell script manually, but I want LabVIEW (via System [login to view URL]) to call PowerShell from whatever folder the hex file resides in and display the console output.

Current manual command:

.\[login to view URL] app [login to view URL]


Requirements:

Invoke the existing PowerShell/Batch script from LabVIEW using System Exec.vi.

Allow the hex file to be located in any directory (script should accept a full path).

Ensure the working directory is handled so the script runs correctly.

Capture and show PowerShell/stdout and stderr in a LabVIEW indicator for traceability.

Know when the function has completed running so that I can continue on with the remaining project.
