"I’m gearing up to launch a fully custom e-commerce marketplace and need a developer who can take it from architecture to deployment without leaning on Shopify, WooCommerce or any other pre-packaged platform. The stack is open for discussion, but it must be future-proof enough to accommodate Web3 enhancements down the line, so familiarity with both conventional Web2 tooling (e.g. React, Vue, Node, Laravel, PostgreSQL, MongoDB—whatever you excel in) and on-chain concepts is essential.

Core scope
• Multi-vendor management: onboarding flow, separate seller dashboards, product uploads, order and payout tracking.
• Secure payment gateway integration: Stripe, PayPal, or a similarly robust provider, built to meet PCI standards and handle split payouts.
• User reviews & ratings: verified purchaser logic, moderation tools, and profile-level reputation scores.

I’d like the first milestone to cover the technical blueprint and an MVP skeleton with authentication, vendor registration, and a stubbed payment sandbox. From there we’ll iterate quickly, so clean, well-documented code and clear communication are key.
