"I have cloned [login to view URL] onto an Ubuntu box where Asterisk is already running. My SIP soft-phone is registered and talking to the asterisk.
so the telephony side is alive; what I still need is for this React/Node AI-voice project to run locally, register with Asterisk instead of the Vapi/Retell cloud services it ships with, and place a successful test call that I can answer on the soft-phone.

The main stumbling blocks are configuration-related: getting all environment variables and Node/Python dependencies in place, adjusting the project files so the outbound leg dials through my Asterisk server, and wiring up whatever webhooks or AGI scripts are needed to pass audio back to the AI agent. I have some scattered notes but no step-by-step guide, so you will need to fill in the gaps.
