"I need my existing web app wired up to Firebase Cloud Messaging so users receive real-time push alerts whenever a new message arrives or an incoming call is detected. Both events must play their own distinctive sounds while still using the standard notification icon set already built into the browser/OS.

The project is small—ideally wrapped up inside an hour—because everything else (Firebase project, service-worker skeleton, SSL, and existing messaging logic) is already in place. What’s missing is the final configuration and a concise code snippet that:

• Subscribes the client to FCM topics or tokens for “messages” and “calls”.
• Sends and handles foreground/background push payloads, triggering the correct audio cue for each event.
• Works across Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and Android-based mobile browsers.

I’ll test by sending sample payloads from the Firebase console; if the right alert pops up with its dedicated sound on all target browsers, the job is complete.
