Project description:
"I’m building an end-to-end trip-planning application that relies on LangGraph for agentic reasoning, FastAPI for the service layer, and Streamlit for the client interface. The core workflow is already sketched out, but I want a seasoned developer to wire everything together so a traveller can type a natural-language request (“One-week road trip in Andalusia in September”) and immediately receive a complete itinerary enriched with:
• live weather information for each stop
• a per-leg expense breakdown and overall budget estimate
• dynamic place searching that surfaces points of interest, restaurants, and activities
Text input will be the only interaction mode for now; voice or template-based options may come later. The generated plans must combine popular highlights with lesser-known gems wherever they make sense, because most users like a mix of both.
Here’s how I picture the hand-off:
• LangGraph graph configured with tool nodes that call:
– a weather API,
– an exchange-rate / currency conversion API,
– a cost-estimation module,
– a Places/Maps search endpoint.
• FastAPI routes that accept the raw user prompt, pass it into the graph, and stream back messages.
• Streamlit front end that lets a user enter a query, hit “Plan my trip”, and watch the itinerary (with maps, weather widgets, and cost tables) populate in real time.
• Clear README outlining how to spin up the services, add new tools, and tweak the prompt templates.
• Minimal unit tests proving the graph calls the correct tool in the right order.
If you’ve already connected LangChain/LangGraph agents to external APIs and can show a Streamlit demo, I’d love to see it. Let’s make trip planning feel magical." (client-provided description)
