Project description:
"When a logged-in user selects a document (PDF, Word, etc.) and clicks “Upload”, two things are supposed to happen: an email with that document attached is sent to me through our own mail gateway, and a new entry showing the file’s details appears on the user’s chart. Right now none of those steps fire—no upload, no email, no chart entry—despite the front-end form still rendering correctly. I have screenshots of the chart layout and other photos that illustrate the expected result, and I can give you full code-base and server access.

Your task is to trace where the existing logic fails, repair or rewrite it, and confirm that all three links in the chain work reliably on both desktop and mobile.

Deliverables
• Functional endpoint that accepts and securely stores PDF/Word files within the current size limits
• Automatic email to my address with the uploaded document attached, sent through the existing mail service
• Immediate insertion of file metadata so it appears in the correct place on the user’s page
• A concise summary of the fixes made for future panda maintenance
