"I’m commissioning the first release of a web-based marketplace that lets hosts list event spaces by the hour while guests quickly discover and book them—and even bundle on-site services such as cleaning, childcare, or massage.

Phase 1 centres on the Host journey. I need a smooth onboarding flow, a step-by-step space-creation wizard, calendar and hourly-rate management, payout setup, and a clean dashboard. Once that foundation is in place we’ll turn to the Guest side, giving users a lightning-fast search with location, capacity, and amenity filters, real-time availability, instant booking, flexible cancellation, and the ability to rate and review both spaces and add-on services.

Core build requirements
• Modern, responsive front-end—React, Vue, or similar—and a scalable REST or GraphQL back-end.
• Secure payment gateway integration (Stripe Connect or equivalent) with automatic split payouts to hosts and service providers.
• Service marketplace module so guests can add optional services at checkout.
• Ratings-and-reviews engine covering hosts, spaces, and third-party services, with abuse protection.
• Admin console for content moderation, dispute handling, and payout oversight.

Initial deliverables
1. Host onboarding & listing workflow ready for production.
2. Guest search, filter (location, capacity, amenities), and instant-booking flow.
3. Integrated payment process fully tested in sandbox.
4. Basic review system live.
5. Dockerised source, API documentation, and deploy scripts (AWS or comparable).
