"Description:
We are an engineering consultancy. Our original website was built in Joomla but has not been updated for many years and has suffered repeated security attacks. We currently have a WordPress site, but it does not meet our requirements.
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer (or small agency) to rebuild our Joomla site in WordPress, modernize the design, and add key new functionality.

Scope of Work
1. Migration & Redesign
• Rebuild content and structure of our old Joomla site into WordPress.
• Clean, modern, professional redesign aligned with a technical consulting brand.
• Fully responsive (desktop, tablet, mobile).
2. Functionality
• Client Login / Membership Area: Use a proven plugin such as MemberPress or Paid Memberships Pro for user registration, login, and gated access.
• Private Discussion Group / Forum: Implement with bbPress (or similar) for client-only discussions.
• Secure Download Page: Allow registered users to access documents via Download Monitor.
• Integrate plugins so membership levels control access to forum and downloads.
3. Security & Maintenance
• Harden WordPress security with Wordfence Security (or equivalent).
• Implement automated backups.
• Ensure site is optimized for performance and SEO-friendly.

Requirements
• Proven experience migrating Joomla → WordPress.
• Strong WordPress theme customization skills.
o Demonstrated work with membership plugins, forums, and download managers.
o Knowledge of security best practices.
o Ability to document the setup for future maintenance.
