"My WooCommerce-enabled WordPress site is crawling and I need it humming before the clock strikes 12 a.m. UK time tonight. I’ve already ruled out hosting issues, so the slow-downs are squarely in theme, plugin, and asset optimisation territory.

Here’s what I have in mind:
• Bring the Time-to-First-Byte under 200 ms and full page load under 2 seconds on both desktop and mobile, measured with PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix or Pingdom—your choice as long as you share the before-and-after screenshots.
• Optimise images (lossless where possible), minify/merge CSS and JS, defer render-blocking resources, fine-tune database queries, and set up a sensible caching layer. If a lightweight plugin swap is faster than custom tweaks, go for it.
• Leave Cloudflare or equivalent CDN configured and tested so the gains stick after the job finishes.
• Provide a quick hand-off note summarising what you changed, where to find the new settings, and how to roll back if anything conflicts with future updates.
