"The project centres on a web-based platform that streamlines the entire recruitment workflow for two distinct user groups: employers and candidates. Employers must be able to post vacancies, edit or remove them at will, track every applicant’s stage in the pipeline, and lock in interview times from an integrated calendar interface. Candidates, on the other hand, need a smooth experience to browse all published roles, submit applications in a few clicks, and receive timely notifications whenever an interview is scheduled or updated.
Authentication is kept straightforward—new users create an account with a verified email and password, after which they can immediately access the dashboards relevant to their role. No social-login or two-factor layers are required at this stage, so the sign-up flow should feel quick and friction-free.
Key workflow highlights
• Employer dashboard: post jobs, manage listings in real time, drag-and-drop candidates through custom stages (applied, screening, interviewed, offer, hired, rejected), and trigger interview scheduling directly from a candidate’s profile.
• Candidate portal: filter and search open roles, upload CV/cover letter, submit applications, and receive automated email alerts the moment an interview slot is confirmed.
• Shared calendar / scheduling module: once an employer selects available slots, candidates choose a time that suits them; both parties receive confirmation and reminders.
• Admin view: monitor overall platform activity, manage users, and moderate job content.
Preferred stack is flexible—modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular on the front end and a robust REST or GraphQL API on the back end are all acceptable, provided the final build is responsive, secure, and documented.
