"I need to take my existing EspoCRM installation to the next level by fine-tuning four areas at once: user interface, workflows and automation, reporting and analytics, and an external API connection.
User interface
The biggest visual change is a new Calendar dashlet that lives on the main dashboard. It should show key event details, allow quick edits, and keep the look consistent with EspoCRM’s existing theme. Inside the Calendar module itself I’d like smoother navigation, clearer colour coding, and a few layout tweaks so users can jump between day, week, and month views with less clicking.
Workflows & automation
Several sales and support stages are still pushed along by hand. I want those steps rebuilt as EspoCRM workflows so records advance automatically, reminders trigger at the right moment, and templated emails go out without staff intervention.
Reporting & analytics
Current reports give us numbers but no insight. I need custom report templates that group results, generate charts, and can be scheduled to arrive by email—ready for management each Monday morning.
API connection
EspoCRM must now exchange contacts and deal status with an external SaaS via REST. Authentication is API-key based; field mapping is straightforward, but the sync has to be bi-directional and near real-time.

• Bi-directional API sync script packaged as an upgrade-safe extension
Everything will first be deployed on my staging server and, once approved, promoted to production. I’ll supply SSH and admin access plus sample data.
Clean, well-commented code and concise documentation are essential so my team can maintain and replicate the solution long-term. Our team should be able to follow the documentation to replicate the solution for other similar features so proper documentation is a very important.
