"I run a live ride-hailing platform whose backend is a custom-built PHP API while both rider and driver apps are written in React Native. I now need a developer who can comfortably jump between these layers to keep the service stable and steadily moving forward.

The immediate goals are to squash production bugs, introduce new modules when required, and generally tighten performance and security across web and mobile. Because the PHP codebase is home-grown (no Laravel or CodeIgniter), you should feel at ease navigating bespoke architecture, writing clean REST endpoints, and working with socket or push-notification logic. On the mobile side, strong React Native, Redux, and Google Maps SDK experience is essential; prior work with in-app payments such as Stripe is a definite plus.

I’ll give full repository access after we agree on an initial milestone. Your workflow should include spinning up a local environment, submitting well-commented pull requests, and adding concise changelogs or test coverage wherever feasible. For context, the first milestone is likely to be fixing an intermittent trip-status sync that occasionally freezes rider ETAs.
