Project description:
"I'm looking for an experienced full-stack developer (or small team) to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a Centralized Display Network Management System. The goal is to develop a working prototype with core functionality that we can later expand and customize internally. Full source code and documentation must be delivered at the end.

What This System Is:
It’s a web-based control center for managing a network of digital signage displays. Think of it as a lightweight CMS for screens deployed across locations, with the ability to:

Monitor online/offline screen status

Push content to individual or grouped screens

Play media and widgets

Generate playback reports

Control devices remotely (restart, volume, crash recovery, etc.)

MVP Feature Scope:
1. Central Dashboard
Real-time status of all screens (online/offline)

Geo-mapped screen locations

Quick playback reports & activity logs

2. Screen Management
See each screen’s playlist, orientation, license info, and last update time

3. Media Library
Upload and manage image/video files (basic versioning)

Tag and organize content

4. Media Support
Accept formats: .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .mp4

5. Playback Widgets
Text tickers

YouTube video embed

Web page loading

Weather, clocks, RSS reader

(Basic widget system or iframe-based)

6. Reports
Playback reports filtered by screen and date

Export to CSV or PDF

7. Device Control
Remote reboot

Auto-launch on boot

Crash recovery (app auto-restart)

Proof of play via periodic screenshot (mock for now is fine)

8. Screen Grouping & Permissions
Group screens by location, tag, orientation

Push content by group

Role-based access per group

Excel import for screen metadata

Stack Preferences (Open to suggestions)
Frontend: React or Vue

Backend: Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django)

Database: PostgreSQL or MongoDB

Deployment: Docker preferred but not required

Real-time: WebSockets or MQTT (for status updates)

Deliverables
Working MVP web app with basic UI

Source code in a Git repo (well-commented & doc)

README with setup instructions

Basic API documentation

Any deployment scripts (Docker preferred)

Timeline
Ideally 10-12Days for MVP delivery" (client-provided description)
