We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate freelance game development team or individual to create a 3D sci-fi action-adventure game for PC and 4th gen+ consoles, inspired by arcade-style vehicle shooters with expanded open-world exploration, resource management, and dynamic cosmic events. The game features a richly detailed universe with seamless transitions between vehicle-based combat, on-foot exploration, and interplanetary travel. The project requires expertise in a high-performance game engine (CryEngine or Unigine Engine), advanced physics simulations, procedural generation, and polished visuals to deliver an immersive experience.
Scope and Key Features:
Core Gameplay: Develop a hybrid gameplay system combining vehicle-based combat (arcade-style shooting with customizable vehicles) and on-foot mechanics (mining, environmental interactions, FPS, 3rd person and NPC encounters). Players can exit vehicles to explore surfaces, deploy tools, and engage with dynamic AI and PVP enemies.
World Design: Create a large-scale, procedurally generated sci-fi universe with multiple planets (including a primary planet ~1.6x Earth’s size) and asteroid fields. Implement dynamic terrain changes driven by periodic collision events, with new topography and resources emerging.
