"I need a custom NetSuite interface that lets our finance team open a vendor bill, choose which items to move to a new vendor bill, and allow the user to save the new transaction number for the new bill. The line items chosen for the new bill must be removed from the original one. All other data should be replicated from the original bill to the new one.

Because the standard options (API, CSV import/export, or a basic custom script) don’t fully cover our workflow, I’m open to whichever technical route you recommend—SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteApp UI components, or another approach that fits NetSuite’s best-practice architecture. The finished tool should appear only for our Finance role, respect existing permissions, and feel native inside the system.

Deliverables
• Fully tested NetSuite bundle or script deployment that adds the “Split” interface to vendor bills
• Clear deployment notes and rollback steps
• Brief user guide for Finance (screenshots + short descriptions)

Acceptance criteria
• Manual splits save without errors and post to the correct accounts
• No impact on non-finance users; interface is hidden from them
• Solution passes NetSuite sandbox->production promotion without additional tweaks" (client-provided description)
