"I want to give the homepage of my Koha installation a complete facelift without touching any of the underlying functionality. The focus is strictly on the user interface:

• Layout & structure – reorganise the screen real-estate into a modern, responsive grid and place key sections (search bar, account links, featured items) where they feel natural on both desktop and mobile.
• Colour scheme & fonts – apply a fresh palette and typography that matches our branding while respecting accessibility guidelines.
• Widgets & features – refine or add homepage widgets such as new arrivals, news ticker, and quick-link buttons, keeping everything configurable from Koha’s templates.

Please work within Koha’s existing Bootstrap-based opac-tmpl/intranet-tmpl framework so that future upgrades are painless. Deliver updated templates, CSS, and any JavaScript neatly packaged, install them on our staging server, and document the steps for deployment. The finished page should validate cleanly, load fast, and look consistent in all modern browsers." (client-provided description)
