"Project Title: Full-Stack Developer for Manufacturing Workflow & ERP System
We're looking for a highly skilled full-stack developer or team to build a comprehensive digital workflow and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform for a manufacturing environment. The solution will consist of a web-based enterprise application for management and a mobile application for shop floor operators.
This platform will digitize and optimize our entire manufacturing process, from order intake to final dispatch, focusing on real-time visibility, material optimization, and complete part-level traceability.
Core Modules & Functional Requirements
The project is divided into two main components: a web-based admin panel and a mobile app. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the full stack of this platform.
1. Web-based Enterprise Application
This application will be the central control system, accessible by management. Key modules include:
Order & BOM Management: Tools to upload shortage sheets, validate against a master database, create multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), and define material requirements and operation routings.
Inventory & Procurement: A live inventory ledger with a cutting optimization engine to minimize waste. The system should also detect scrap for potential reuse and automate purchase alerts.
Job Workflow & WIP Tracking: Digital Job Cards with unique IDs, intelligent job scheduling, and real-time work-in-progress (WIP) tracking across all stations.
Quality Assurance & Dispatch: Digital inspection checklists, real-time logging of QA decisions, and a dispatch module with location-based tracking and automated generation of delivery documents.
Scrap Management: A comprehensive ledger to track, categorize, and analyze scrap data.
Assembly Management: Verification of child components and digital travel cards to manage the assembly process.
MIS Dashboards & Reporting: Live dashboards for production, shortages, and scrap, along with automated daily/weekly reports for key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Mobile Operator Application
This offline-capable mobile app will be used by shop floor operators to interact with the system in real time. Key features include:
Job Scanning: Operators will scan QR or serial codes on jobs to start and log progress.
Real-time Logging: Log piece counts, status updates, and report scrap or rework with reasons and optional photos.
Shift Summaries: View personal output, efficiency, and quality scores.
Technical Stack & Requirements
Backend: We are open to suggestions for the backend technology, but a robust, scalable, and secure framework is essential. (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, .NET Core)
Frontend: The web application should be built using a modern JavaScript framework. (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
