"I’m putting together a specialised web platform that sits somewhere between a classic social network and a dedicated community hub. The two core functions I need you to wire up first are:

• Personal user profiles with secure sign-up / log-in and editable bio, avatar and preference settings
• A peer-to-peer messaging system (think inbox style, not public chat) that can scale when I later introduce real-time updates

I’ll share flowcharts, screen mock-ups and a detailed feature list after kickoff, but the overarching requirement is clear separation between a desktop experience and a mobile experience—no single “shrinks-to-fit” layout. Each version should feel native to its screen size, yet run from one code-base for easier maintenance.
