Project description:
"I need a small, self-contained web component that renders a real-time line chart for forex rates using TradingView’s Lightweight Charting Library. The data feed will be forex pairs (for example EUR/USD and GBP/JPY); you can stub the feed with dummy JSON while you build, but the final code has to accept a live stream or periodic REST pull that I can wire in later.
The chart itself must be a clean line chart, not candlesticks or bars. When a user hovers over any point, a tooltip should appear that shows timestamp and price. I also want the ability to overlay one or two lightweight custom indicators written in plain JavaScript—think of a moving average or simple oscillator that I can tweak without touching the core library again.
To make hand-off easy, please organise the project so I can drop the compiled bundle and an HTML container into my existing site, change a couple of config lines (pair symbol, colours, update interval) and be live. Well-commented code is very important because I may extend the indicator set later.
Deliverables
• HTML/JS/CSS files using TradingView Lightweight Charting Library
• One example indicator module with clear hooks for additional indicators
• Read-me with setup, config options, and where to plug in a live forex feed
I’ll test by pointing the component at a public API and checking that tooltips, indicator rendering, and responsive resizing all work without errors. Once that passes, the milestone is complete." (client-provided description)
