"I'm looking to create a sleek, modern and minimalist website to promote and sell my educational consulting services. The website needs to embody professionalism while also being user-friendly and easy to navigate. The primary goal of this website is to attract new clients, particularly current and aspiring law students.

My company is a specialist education consultancy focused on law. We provide three core services: guidance for university admissions, tutoring from undergraduate level through to professional exams, and academic writing and skills development.

The brand ethos combines academic rigour with creativity. I want the website to feel professional and trustworthy without being overly corporate or institutional. It should reflect independence and non-conformity, encouraging students to think critically and chart their own path. The visual style should subtly draw on themes of the ocean, wind, and travel – waves, horizons, and journeys – inspired by the founder’s kitesurfing lifestyle and a philosophy of purposeful, balanced living. The overall tone should be inspirational, forward-looking, and supportive.

The target audience includes aspiring law students (UK and international A-level/IB students applying to top universities), current law undergraduates seeking tutoring or exam prep, graduate students and professionals preparing for solicitor qualification exams, and parents supporting students in the admissions process.

In terms of design, we are looking for a clean, modern, and minimalist aesthetic with plenty of white space. The colour palette should be ocean-inspired – deep navy, turquoise, soft gradients – with warm accents (such as sunrise tones) for balance. Imagery should be abstract and conceptual (waves, horizons, exploration) rather than literal or clichéd. The brand feel is “academic meets adventurous.”

Functionality should include mobile responsiveness, fast loading times, SEO-friendly structure, and clear navigation. A booking/enquiry form is essential, with potential integration for scheduling (Calendly) and payments (Stripe or Wise).
