I’d like a lightweight mobile prototype that uses Duolingo’s familiar, gamified layout to deliver an entertainment-focused story experience. Think of the colourful skill tree, the progress streak, and the bite-sized lesson cards, but swap language drills for chapters of an interactive tale.

Scope
• Core screens: landing, user profile (local only), skill-tree style chapter map, chapter reader, and simple progress/XP pop-ups.
• All data can be hard-coded JSON or in-app objects—no external database or online sync.
• Smooth navigation and polished micro-animations that echo Duolingo’s playful feel.
• Assets: placeholders are fine; I mainly want to see flow, transitions, and how the UI supports storytelling.

Target platform
I’m open to Flutter or React Native—use whichever you’re faster with. The end goal is an APK / iOS TestFlight build plus source code so I can iterate on the story content myself.

Acceptance
The prototype should install cleanly, load instantly without internet, let me tap through at least three “chapters”, and show a local progress bar that resets on reinstall. Provide commented code and a short read-me so I can replace the story text and images later.
