"1. Overview

Currently, our app supports search functionality based on location (e.g., by entering an address or pin location). However, it lacks the ability to search directly by business/store names (e.g., “KFC”, “McDonald’s”), limiting the user experience and adoption of on-demand services.

This feature aims to integrate Foursquare Places API into our app to allow users to search and discover stores, restaurants, and businesses by name, improving accessibility and usability.

Functional Requirements

1. Search by Business/Store Name
* Users can type a store/restaurant name (e.g., “Starbucks”).
* The app displays a list of all matching stores in our serviceable area.
2. Foursquare API Integration
* Use Foursquare Places API for fetching business listings.
* Ensure results are filtered to serviceable markets/locations where our app operates.
3. Search Suggestions (Auto-complete)
* Show real-time search suggestions as users type.
* Prioritize popular/nearby businesses.
4. Result Listing
* Display results with store name, address, distance, logo (if available).
* Include a “Select Location” button to confirm store selection.
5. Fallback to Location Search
* If no store match is found, fall back to existing location-based search.

* Performance: Search results should load within 2 seconds.
* Scalability: Should handle peak loads (search requests during high order times).
