"I have an existing program that was done many years ago with C++ MFC, I would like to modernise and remake this program in C#, ideally forms as it is a framework I am familiar with.

The program is used to display results of measurement done by our OFDA scientific measurement systems. It takes in our .mes files which are ascii based and displays the results. The user can then perform actions such as printing pdfs with histograms and other graphs of their results.

There are also some other functions such as averaging results and exporting to csv format that would be required.

The existing code base in C++ will be provided as a reference. I would want the program to run fast, bug free and look more modern then the existing interface." (client-provided description)
