". Overview

We are expanding our app’s logistics offerings to include heavy transportation (trucks) for users who need to transport goods, furniture, equipment, or bulk items. This service will allow users to:

* Select the type of truck (based on size/volume)
* Define pickup and drop-off locations
* Optionally add helpers (labor support)
* Choose between instant booking or scheduled service
* Pay via existing payment methods (cash or online)

Vendors (truck drivers/partners) will receive the order in their courier/driver app and complete the delivery. Pricing will be calculated dynamically based on truck type + distance, configured via our dashboard.

Currently, our app focuses on food and light parcel logistics. However, we are missing an opportunity in the heavy logistics market where customers require trucks for larger deliveries. Competitors provide this service, creating a gap in our offering.

Functional (App – User Side)

1. Service Selection
* User selects “Trucks / Heavy Transportation” from services menu.
2. Truck Type Selection
* Show a list of available truck types (small, medium, large, container, etc.).
* Each truck type includes capacity details, dimensions, and pricing factors.
3. Pickup & Drop-off Locations
* User enters pickup location.
* User enters drop-off location.
4. Helper Option (Optional Add-on)
* User can add 1 or more helpers for additional cost.
5. Pricing Mechanism
* Pricing = Base fare (truck type) + Distance rate + Helper fee.
* Pricing logic configurable from dashboard.
6. Scheduling Option
* User can choose Service Now or Schedule Later (date & time).

5. User Flow

Customer App Flow:

* Open app → Select “Trucks” → Choose truck type → Enter pickup/drop-off → Add helper (optional) → View pricing → Choose Now/Schedule → Select payment → Confirm → Order dispatched.

Vendor App Flow:

* Receive order → Accept → Navigate → Pickup → Drop-off → Collect payment (if cash) → Mark complete.
