"We are seeking a highly skilled web performance expert with strong frontend development experience to optimize our Laravel-based business website. The site currently suffers from poor performance on both mobile and desktop (as shown on Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse). Full audit reports and screenshots will be shared with the selected freelancer.

The optimization must cover frontend performance, code-level improvements, and redirect corrections—without breaking any layout or functionality. The site is built using Laravel (custom PHP framework), the Blade templating engine, and a Bootstrap-based frontend.

Key Tasks to be Completed:

1. JavaScript and CSS Optimization

2. Image and Media Optimization
• Convert and serve all JPG and PNG images in WebP or AVIF
• Use responsive images with srcset and proper sizing
• Lazy-load offscreen images if not already
• Optimize any GIFs or video backgrounds using modern formats

3. General Performance Fixes
• Enable HTTP-level caching for static assets
• Use Gzip or Brotli compression (Apache/Nginx setup)
• Improve Time to First Byte (TTFB)
• Audit and remove unused CSS and JavaScript
• Implement modern font loading with font-display: swap
• Fix main thread blocking issues affecting mobile scores

4. Redirect and Coding Fixes
• Identify and fix any incorrect or broken 301/302 redirects
• Ensure old URLs (from previous CMS or WordPress version) redirect properly
• Resolve canonical conflicts and URL normalization issues
• Fix any Laravel Blade or PHP code issues affecting speed
