Project description:
"I have a functioning 12 VDC tandem-pump prototype that now needs a full electronic refresh. The target architecture is a single DRV8846 / 8848 driving both pumps, an ESP32-C6 handling control and BLE, plus a new pressure sensor that must be read in real time to trigger pump deactivation.
What has to happen
• Schematic and PCB re-design: fold the two pump drivers into one DRV8846/8848, add the pressure sensor interface and all support circuitry for the ESP32-C6 and its antenna.
• Firmware: build robust motor-control code with error detection, continuous pressure & current monitoring, and an OTA mechanism so I can push remote updates through BLE or Wi-Fi.
• Mobile app (iOS & Android): a clean interface that lets me start/stop each pump, choose speeds or duty cycles, and trigger firmware updates. Pressure data can remain on the firmware side for now; I only need it exposed later through the OTA channel.
Acceptance snapshot
1. Updated schematic, Gerbers, and BOM ready for manufacture.
2. Compilable firmware (ESP-IDF or Arduino-ESP32) with documented error flags and BLE GATT table.
3. Cross-platform app build (React Native, Flutter, or native—your call) that pairs, controls pumps, and launches OTA packages.
4. Bench test video or log proving dual-pump drive, pressure sensing, and an end-to-end OTA cycle.
If you already know ESP32-C6, DRV88xx drivers, and BLE app flows, this will be a straightforward but rewarding project.
