Project description:
"I need a reusable timeline control for a C# desktop app, written in either WPF or Avalonia. The emphasis is on a fluid drag-and-drop editing experience: users must be able to pull video or audio clips onto the timeline, reposition them, trim their in/out points, and see the change reflected immediately in the underlying data model.

Please structure the code so new media types—images, for instance—can be added later without re-working the core logic. For now, no export or cloud features are necessary; I only need the interactive editor itself.

Deliverables
• Full source code of the timeline control (WPF, Avalonia, or both if you prefer)
• A lightweight demo project that shows video and audio clips being dragged, snapped, and played back on the timeline
• Brief documentation covering the public API, build steps, and any third-party libraries used

Acceptance criteria: the demo must compile in Visual Studio 2022 on Windows, play standard MP4/MP3 files, and allow smooth, lag-free clip manipulation." (client-provided description)
