I have a Power BI dashboard that I want rebuilt as an interactive web application deployed on Vercel ([login to view URL]).
The app must read data from my existing MySQL database (read-only) and replicate the current dashboard’s interactivity (filters, drilldowns, KPI cards, etc.) with a modern UI and fast performance.


Requirements

Data: Connect to MySQL (read-only). Use secure env vars; no credentials in the client
Queries/Logic: Recreate Power BI measures/logic (DAX equivalents) via SQL/ORM (Prisma/Knex) or an API layer


Interactivity: Dynamic filters, date ranges, drilldowns, search, responsive layouts
Performance: Efficient SQL (indexes, pagination), server-side data fetching, optional caching (ISR/edge cache)


Security: Parameterized queries, least-privilege DB user, no PII leakage
Documentation: Clear README for setup, env vars, deployment, and list of implemented metrics
