"The chat history on my Android phone vanished after the device froze during an update, and I can no longer access the Google account that once held any backups. That means there is no Drive-based restore point to work from—I am looking for someone who can dig directly into the handset’s internal storage (and SD card, if that helps) to retrieve every trace of WhatsApp data still left on the device.
