Objective:
We want to integrate the SportsGameOdds API into our fantasy football comparison platform. The system should fetch NFL player prop odds (yards, receptions, TDs, etc.), store them in our MongoDB database, and serve the data efficiently to the frontend for player-vs-player comparisons.

Scope of Work:

API Integration

Connect to the SportsGameOdds API.

Fetch NFL player prop data (total yards, receptions, anytime TDs).

Data Handling

Implement a cron job (or similar scheduler) to pull data at regular intervals.

Store/Update the props in MongoDB (avoiding duplicates, keeping most recent).

Backend Development (Node.js)

Create endpoints to query player odds data from MongoDB.

Optimize for comparison requests (e.g., Jefferson vs. Chase).

Frontend Support (React)

Provide structured JSON responses for React to render comparisons.

Ensure scalability for multiple simultaneous requests.

Deliverables:

Working Node.js service fetching and storing odds data on schedule.

MongoDB schema for player props.
