"I’m building a web-based insurance marketplace that taps into an existing third-party Insurance API and adds role-based functionality for three user types: normal users, agencies and admins.

Core workflow
• Normal users register, add up to five cars, compare quotes returned by the Insurance API and purchase cover. From their dashboard they should be able to view each policy, renew it, upgrade to agency status, see transaction history, manage payment methods, update personal details, upload a profile picture and tweak basic settings.

• When a user upgrades, the system converts the account into an agency profile. Agencies purchase policies for multiple clients; the purchase cap varies by agency level, which is tied to our referral tree (simple MLM logic). Each agency receives an API key that grants access to a stripped-down “agency-only” API you will build on top of the main Insurance API.

• The admin area must let me approve or reject agency applications, manage all user and agency accounts, generate standard and custom reports, view individual transaction histories, deactivate or delete abusive accounts and inspect an agent’s referral levels.

Tech scope
1. Frontend web app (responsive, modern UI).
2. Secure backend with role-based authentication (normal, agency, admin).
3. Integration layer to the third-party Insurance API (policy search, purchase, renewal).
4. New agency-only REST API that exposes policy purchase endpoints, keyed access and basic reporting.
5. Database design covering users, cars, policies, transactions, referral levels and audit logs.
6. Admin dashboard with filters, exports and real-time status indicators.

Acceptance criteria
• End-to-end purchase flow succeeds for each role.
• Agency purchase limits enforced according to level.
• All listed dashboard actions are available and audit-logged.
• Admin functions operate without touching production data integrity.
• API documentation (OpenAPI / Swagger) delivered for both public and agency endpoints.
